Hi!
I have already built several flying wings but always using plans.
Now, I want to design my own plans. I know exactly how to model in 3D, and export a scaled plan.
My question is more related to aerodynamics I guess.
I noticed that the airfoil at the root chord and the airfoil at the tip of the wing are always different (except for KFM builds).
It seem to be the case with the FT Arrow for example/
I am wondering why. Maybe to make it more rigid ?
But I am also wondering how to choose the tip airfoil once you have chosen the root airfoil.
Best regards,
Acwok
