We ordered our birth pool (La Bassine) with a universal tap connector but it doesn't fit our kitchen tap. This is the only mixer tap in the house. It is not a particularly unusual shape. I cannot find any other types of connector online. Has anyone had a similar problem? What did you do?
The tap is one of those curvy stainless steel jobs shaped sort of like an upside down umbrella handle. The diameter is wider than the diameter of the hose.
Any ideas? DH has resigned himself to taking many trips up and down our kitchen stairs with buckets, which I think is ridiculous and will just irritate me beyond belief when I'm in labour! (Which may not be that far off, am 38+4...)
