Bluetooth has landed! If youre wondering whats included with our new measuring devices, look no further! In this post, were going to dive into exactly what's on offer when you buy a Bluetooth thermometer.

Were excited to launch two new Bluetooth thermometers. The thermometer youre offered will depend on your region and availability.
Both devices work with Bluetooth and share many of the same great new features. Now let's take a look at what's included, and what you can do when you choose a Bluetooth thermometer...
Lets start with the BIG one. Our new Bluetooth thermometers make mornings easier, as you don't need to enter your temperature into the app yourself. Once youve paired your and thermometer, your data will sync each morning with the click of a button once youve opened the app! Just like that, your temperature data will appear in your app as if by magic except it's science!
Want to add more data? You can still track sex, bleeding, mood, and more by visiting Add Data as usual. And because we want to make the experience as smooth and flexible as possible, youve still got the option to manually add temperature data when you need or want to.
Worried about forgetting to add data after taking your temperature? No sweat. Our new thermometers can save multiple readings on the same device so you can sync several days worth of temperatures at a time. Each measurement has its own date stamp so you can also keep track of when you last measured.
The thermometers store at least ten days worth of temperature data. Of course, we always encourage you to sync and check the NC° app every day so you can get your up-to-date fertility status.
We know that some users find that a noisy thermometer can be a pain in the beep. So for those Cyclers who have been longing for a way to measure more quietly, the wait is over! Both our new devices come with the option to disable unwanted beeping.
Now you can choose to measure in silence, but feel free to shout from the rooftops when you beat that measuring streak
Wondering how youll know when measuring is complete without a beep? Dont worry, each new thermometer comes with either a button or a backlight that flashes at the end of a measurement. Its up to you if you choose to use this feature, and just like the beep, its customizable. Youve got the option to turn it on and off when you feel like it.
A new backlit display means youll also be able to read your temperature data and know when its time to measure even in a darkened room. This new display is here to make your morning routine easy-peasy!
Last but not least, our new thermometers have a sleek new design and are built with your morning routine in mind. If you want to level up the look of your measuring device then look no further! Both thermometers are an ergonomic upgrade from our old device and fit comfortably in your hand.

Each thermometer is fitted with its own protective case so you can keep measuring on the move, wherever the adventure takes you.

RTDs, thermistors and thermocouples - measure the effects of heat on electronic current. Resistance devices, RTDs and thermistors, take advantage of the fact that electrical resistance reacts to changes in temperature along predictable curves.
Both the relatively inexpensive thermistor and the high-precision RTD - measure resistance in a resistor attached to an electronic circuit to measure temperature.
Thermistors typically use ceramic beads as resistors, while RTD's often use either platinum or metal films.
With thermistors, resistance decreases with temperature and with RTDs, resistance increases.
Both thermistors and RTDs may have a higher degree of accuracy than thermocouples, but their range is limited by comparison and they are generally not as fast.
Thermocouples work on the principle, that when connected to two different metals across a span with a temperature difference, an electronic circuit is generated.
The voltage of the generated circuit changes with variations in temperature in predictable ways.
Common thermocouples weld together nickel and chromium - Type K, copper and constantan - Type T or iron and constantan - Type J and place the weld at the very tip of the thermometer probe.
Since thermocouples only generate voltage if there is a difference in temperature along the circuit (and the difference in temperatures needs to be known to calculate a temperature reading), thermocouples either have a cold junction where part of the circuit is brought to the ice point (0°C/32°F) or an electronic cold junction compensation that aids in the calculation. Thermocouples can detect temperatures across wide ranges and are typically quite fast.
